Jesus – Treading On the High Waves of the Sea
Firstly.. we should bear in mind.. that the agenda of prophecy.. and scripture.. is to undermine the way the system works. This is the central theme throughout all the holy books.. and gets reworked over and over again.. so there can be no confusion.. or doubt about it. It can be found concealed among the myths.. allegoric stories and poetic writings.. from Genesis.. to Revelation.
The Agenda
Now we speak wisdom among those who are mature, but not the wisdom of this system of things nor that of the rulers of this system of things, who are to come to nothing.
1Corinthians 2:6
The “miracle” of Jesus treading on the high waves.. (or high places) then.. has a cryptic meaning.. and.. in this way.. it is concealed from the casual reader.
A calm sea symbolizes spiritual equality..
No one is higher.. or lower.. than the next person..
We are all equally important… which is common sense really. .
No need of presidents.. kings.. popes.. leaders.. since each of us possesses the brain potential to be self-regulating.. and to lead ourselves..
This is true freedom.
Which is what the scriptures are trying to teach.. to the blind.. and the deaf people..
The symbolism behind “treading on the high waves” .. means.. he is causing the rulers of the earth to come to nothing.. with his words (or spirit).
He is trampling down.. those in power.. treading them underfoot.. but in a spiritual sense.. with well considered words.. in a battle of ideas.
Walking over them.. as a higher authority.. who possesses a god-like identity.
This is what the children of God do..
They engage the system in a spiritual warfare..
Tearing down an out-dated system.. and then rebuilding it.. new.
Establishing the kingdom of heaven on Earth.
For everyone to share in.
Because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12
But this is a war fought with words and ideas.. not with weapons.
For, look! the Former of the mountains and the Creator of the wind, and the One telling to earthling man what his mental concern is, the One making dawn into obscurity, and the one treading on the earth’s high places, the God of armies is his name.
Amos 4:13
And.. wouldn’t it be a miracle.. (in the metaphorical sense of the word).. if that actually happened.. ?
The Miracle
Well, by now it had grown dark and Jesus had not yet come to them. Also, the sea began to be stirred up because a strong wind was blowing. However, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they beheld Jesus walking upon the sea and getting near the boat; and they became fearful.
John 6:16
At a casual glance it seems a nice story but there are styles of wording that can lead the dedicated reader somewhere else completely.. because it has been written in a cryptic language that has nothing to do with any kind of historical events occurring in the physical world.. but rather what is occurring spiritually.. outside time.. in hearts and minds.
The above passage tells us not only that Jesus was walking on the sea.. but.. more precisely.. that he was treading on high waves.. because there was a “strong wind” blowing and the sea was “stirred up”.
This then.. is in accordance with the prophecy.. from the book of Job. The idea of stretching out the heavens.. (or in other words.. extending them).. means bringing heaven down to earth..
And this can only be achieved by.. metaphorically.. treading upon the high waves of the sea.. and bringing down those in power.
It’s simple.. really.
“Stretching out the heavens by himself and treading upon the high waves of the sea..”
Job 9:8
This prophecy.. from the book of Job.. verifies this.. as the writer is describing what God will do.. (or what God’s will is).. when he becomes manifest.. in human form.. as the Christ.
And it is expressed in the form of poetry.
Too many read every word so literally.. that is the problem.
There are many more examples of this kind of language.. since it is a recurring theme throughout the scriptures.
Notice also.. the war-like language that is being constantly used too..
The tongue (or our words).. becomes like a sword in battle.
For, look! God is going forth from his place, and he will
certainly come down and tread upon earth's high places.
Micah 1:3
And the One who is your eminent sword?
So your enemies will cringe before you,
And you - upon their high places you will tread."
Deuteronomy 33:29
NOTE: The use of the word “walking” might be due to a poor translation of the word “treading”.. which would be much more consistent with the language used throughout the rest of the scriptures.
